Ohmygosh California is now my fave vacation spot ever!!! It's soooo beautiful out there. I'd love to live there but of course a tiny little house is like $2 Million. Go figure.
I meant to write in here earlier but I've been putting off uploading my pictures. Looks like they're not getting uploaded, at least not for awhile, because our computer is lacking in memory. We don't want to mess it up.
Anyways, it was a pretty eventful vaca. Lots of cute/hot guys, lol. There was this one dude that Brooke and me nicknamed "Phone Boy" because he was always walking outside the hotel on a cell pretending to be talking, yet he never said a word for like hours. We wanted to talk to him but never got a chance because Wanda, my mom, Todd, and Alex were always sitting out on the balcony spying on us. I hated it.
Okay, so here's the agenda:
Saturday: Flew out to California at like 6 pm but because of the time change got there at about 8 pm. Yes, a 5-hour flight. Ugh. We ate at Jack in the Box that night and I hope I never ever have to eat at one of those effing places ever again!!!
Sunday: We just kind of hung around the hotel that evening after going to the beach. It was really, really nice! The water was kind of cold but the waves are insane. I like the Pacific better than the Atlantic. Oh yeah, I lost my sunglasses in the ocean. Good thing I have 2 pairs.
Monday: Went to Sea World. Everyone got sunburned during the Shamu show. I didn't really care much for Sea World. I prefer theme parks with lots of rides instead of a zoo-like atmosphere. Todd got pissed because the penguins weren't open.
Tuesday: There was a San Diego Wild Animal Park so we went to that one day. It was really nice. Actually, as good as the zoo if not better. There was this amazingly gorgeous guy that sat infront of us on the tour. He had this sweet Love tattoo on his wrist. Yeah, I paid more attention to him than the animals, lol. Todd was pissed yet again because the tigers were closed.
Wednesday: LA! I actually wasn't that impressed with Los Angeles since I've been to New York. I mean, it's nice but I think NY is way cleaner and just nicer overall. We didn't see any celebrities. But that night when we came back to the hotel Bo Derek was shooting a soap opera at our hotel's pool. Sometime around Wed. I lost my navy blue flip-flops in the hotel, lol. I got a super-sweet Breakfast Club poster and Charmmy Kitty iPod case.
Thursday: Lazy day. We all went to the beach again. Of course, Brooke and me were the only ones to ever go in the water. There's so much freaking seaweed in that ocean though. I swear it was clinging to me on purpose!!!
Friday: We went to the San Diego Zoo. Thank God there was a bus tour that covered like 75% of the exhibits so we didn't have to walk. That zoo is really, really nice. It makes The National Zoo look pitiful. And I got to see Koalas!!! Yay! There were some men at this stand in the gift shop selling hand-made jewelry so I got a cute little panda necklace. Oh, that night at Chili's Brooke prepared a container of food for some homeless guy.
Saturday: Had to wake up at like 5 am to catch our insanely early flight to get back home. We were eating McDonald's at like 6 am. Sorry, but I don't function before at least 10. I was happy to see Lexi again and Nanny but it was really depressing to leave.
I swear California is obsessed with Denny's. There's one on every effing corner. But seriously, Cali is so gorgeous. Everyone agreed that it was the prettiest place we've ever been. The weather is perfect. It's sunny but cool enough that you're not sweating. The hotel was nice too. We had an ocean view and there was a sandy little play area that I liked to sit at when it was dark. I should've hid away or something so I didn't have to come back, lol.
Blah, last week sucked because my grandmother was in the hospital getting her left knee replaced. She got the right one done last summer. Anyways, it went perfect this time around because she had some complications last year. She's been home since Friday afternoon. I figured it would be more of a hassle dealing with her but she's been doing okay. Lexi's scared of her walker, lol.
Yesterday my mom and I went shopping and I got a totally cute hoodie. I can't wait to wear it! Then we got some shoes at Target. I love both pairs. Today we went to Kohl's and I got some cute jewelry and another metal sign for my bedroom wall. It's hot pink and says "Mood Swings Ahead". My mom thought it was pretty funny--and perfect for me.
Even though I don't go to public school, this is like my Back-to-School shopping period. I mean, everyone needs some new clothes no matter what.
Well, I'm off to browse the lovely web. And jam to Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguleria. It's a sucky radio remix though.
